Wax Melts
Q. What are wax melts, and how do they work?
Wax melts are scented pieces of wax that release fragrance when gently warmed. Unlike candles, they don't have a wick - you place them in a wax melt burner where a tealight or electric heat melts the wax and releases the scent.

Q. How long does one wax melt last?
Each melt provides about 10 hours of beautiful fragrance, depending on the scent and burner you use. Some customers even reuse theirs more than once before switching to a new one.

Q. Can I reuse wax melts after the scent fades?

Wax Melt Burners
Q. What type of wax melt burner should I use? Tealight or electric?
Both work beautifully. Tealight burners give a cozy glow and are great for quick scent boosts. Electric burners are a safer, no-flame option — ideal for scenting your home all day.

Q. Are your burners safe to leave unattended?
For safety, we always recommend turning off electric burners when you leave the room and never leaving tealight burners unattended.

Q. How do I clean a wax melt burner?
Once the wax cools and hardens, gently pop it out with a spoon or cotton pad. You can also warm it slightly to make removal easier. Always clean your burner between scent changes.
Scent & Ingredients
Q. What are your wax melts made of?
All Yarrow melts are made from high-quality soy wax and premium fragrance oils. We don’t use paraffin wax, and all our products are hand-poured in small batches.

Q. Do you use essential oils or natural ingredients?
We use fragrance oils, which are specially formulated for safe home use. Some of our wax melts (like those in our insect-repelling range) include lavender essential oil or Citrepel, which is a naturally-derived ingredient known for repelling insects.

Q. Are your wax melts pet- or child-safe?
We don’t make specific claims around pet or child safety, as sensitivities can vary. We recommend using melts in well-ventilated spaces and keeping burners out of reach of curious hands and paws.

Q. Where do you ship to?
We currently ship within the UK and to the USA. Shipping times and costs are calculated at checkout.

Q. How long will it take to get my order?
UK orders usually arrive in 2–5 business days. US shipping can take longer. During the holidays, we recommend ordering early to ensure delivery in time.
